Mickey Hartes Singles:
------------------------
Mickey Harte has released his first solo demo in 2001 called 'Plugged, Unplugged'

Mickey Harte has released 3 singles so far:

1)We've got the World: This was his Eurovision Single and his first biggest hit: the song went straight in at No.1! It stayed at the top of the charts for an outstanding 7 weeks but was knocked off the top by R.Kelly with 'Ignition'.
He stayed at No.2 two for a number of weeks. We've got the world is the fastest and best selling single in Ireland in 2003. The single included two other songs 'Without You' and 'Missunderstood' which are written by Mickey himself

The album entered the charts at No.2 and stayed at the No.2 spot for 4 weeks but on the fifth week on release the album topped the chart to become No.1 in the Irish top 40. Mickey Harte featured on an album called 'Even Better then the Real Thing'. It is a charity album where the money goes to the National Childrens Hospital in Tallaght, Dublin. The album features Irish musicians such as Mickey Harte, Mundy, Paddy Casey etc. singing chart hits by other artists. Mickey Harte sings Beyonces No.1 'Crazy In Love'. It is a brilliant album and worth buying when all proceeds go to this worthy charity.
As Mickey said himself : "If ya have a couple of pound spare, pop out and buy the album"
It reached No.2 in the charts and is on sale in all good music shops now.
The tracklist for the album is:

Reviews of Mickeys CDs...

Here are some reviews I found in newspapers or magazines. Some may be good or bad
----------------------------------------

Heres a review of Mickeys single, I never wanna let you down, which I found in The Ticket
-------------------------------------------
Mickey did us proud at Eurovision by not coming in last and here he proves theres more to him than doing a tribute to the Danish entry from two years ago. This catchy power ballad sounds tantalisingly like something youve heard before, maybe by The 4 of Us, but at least its a cut above Eurosong.

I found this review of Mickeys album 'Sometimes Right, Sometimes Wrong' in The Ticket.
------------------------------------------
How many songs has Mickey Harte written? Its in the hundreds threatens the nations crooner-elect in his sleeves notes. With considerable restraint, then, just six of them filter into his patchy debut, cautiously butressing Hartes singer-songwriter credibility with four covers. Blessed with Darius-like good looks, helped along with a Dari-esque rise to public attention and demonstrating a positively Darian fondness for self-penned, cliched luurve ballads (loves like you abounding, wishes generally coming true etc.) Harte is at least more humble. A charming Josh Ritter tune, opener Here at the Right Time, almost excuses the albums cloying over-production (aptfor the harmless title track, less so for an unctuous reading of Paul Bradys The Island, fatal for the Undertones Teenage Kicks), while his Donegal tones and acoustic heft leave that Eurovision entry sounding staggeringly incongruous. Quite intentional, Id suspect.

I FOUND THIS ALBUM REVIEW BY GOLDEN DISCS, AT LEAST THEY KNOW MICKEYS MUSIC IS WORTH LISTENIN TO!
Review: Mickey Harte
Review written by Golden Discs This is the debut album from Irelands Eurovision hero Mickey Harte. Unlike previous Eurovision hopefuls, Mickey Harte is a singer that has a past in music, he began life with a band called The Kryptic in which he came runner up in a joint RTE/BBC talent show. At twenty five he went solo and never looked back, signing to Sony Music he released his first solo album Sometimes Right, Sometimes Wrong.Mickey Hartes debut exceeds expectations, you may be expecting an album that contains one hit, namely his Eurovision song Weve Got The World Tonight but all credit to Mickey this is an album that steps above his Eurovision single to revel an album with far more depth.Mickey recorded his debut album in the UK in April with record producer Jon Kelly (Kate Bush, The Beautiful South, Deacon Blue, Tori Amos). The album contains seven original tracks from Mickey and four covers, and it has to be said Mickeys own stuff is far more impressive. Its not that easy to label this album it combines elements of pop, rock and folk divided across the various songs, definite highlights on the album include the two singles released along with songs Sometimes Right, Sometimes Wrong and There Must Be Love.Mickey Hartes first stab at recording a solo album is an admirable one, this is an album that deserves much credit, from start to finish you can appreciate what hes trying to accomplish, granted there are some tracks that sound quite raw but you gotta take the good with the bad and there are some real gems here.
